About the Opportunity
Densford Civil is looking for a full-time HSE Assistant based in O’Connor, WA.
Reporting to the HSEQ Coordinator and HSE Manager, this role is predominantly site-based and will support the HSE team with inspections, audits, reporting, and general safety coordination across multiple civil projects.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting regular site inspections across projects throughout Perth
- Assisting with audits and supporting site compliance with HSE requirements
- Supporting event reporting and tracking corrective actions
- Assisting with PPE ordering, issuing, and tracking
- Coordinating training bookings, records, onboarding, and induction
- Maintaining HSE documentation, registers, reporting data, and statistics
- Supporting toolbox talks, safety alerts, and HSE communications
- Working with site teams to help resolve safety actions in a practical, collaborative way
About You
To be considered, you will need a White Card and a valid Western Australian driver’s licence. Some exposure to construction, civil, mining, or another site-based environment will be highly regarded.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Cert IV in WHS, or working towards it
- First Aid certificate
- Internal auditing or management systems exposure
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational and time management skills
